Rating Scale

Grading

Please evaluate the rating system and grades together with your needs to determine if a product is right for you. Grading is done based on my own personal experiences and satisfaction overall.  A positive or negative value indicates that I thought the product came close to the next level in either direction (a “c-” was almost a “d”).  Grades may not match rating.

A: Extremely satisfied with this product, few suggestions.  Made with FTMs in mind (doesn’t guarantee and “A”).

B: Satisfied with Product, but needs work.  Good Construction and value.

C: Not satisfied with product but also not (too) unsatisfied. poorly made. poor value.

D: Horrible Product, poor value, bad experiences

F: I was traumatized by this product.

Rating Scale

The following categories are used to rate products.  Products are evaluated based on five questions in each categories.  If a question is asked for a category that doesn’t apply to that product, the product is automatically given that point. Here, the terms are explained as they are used on this site.

Price

Is this a fair price for the average working stiff to pay?

Is this a fair value compared to similar products?

Is this a good price for performance of product?

Is this a good price compared to lifetime of product?

Does the quality of product match product price(or have a better value)?

Usability:

Is this product easy to use day in and day out?

Does it cause discomfort (1 point for No)?

Is product comfortable for prolonged use?

Does this product need to be adjusted excessively(1 point for No)?

Does product allow for normal function (i.e. -walking, sleeping, exercise,etc.)?

Durability:

Does it hold up against wear and tear?

Can it take repeated washings and/or cleanings?

Does product have a long lifetime?

Is it made from strong, quality materials?

How well does it hold up against products needed to support it (ex. harnesses)?

Appearance:

Does it give the appearance (bulge, flattening, height) that it’s supposed to?

Does it appear natural on the wearer instead of awkward?

Will the average user be satisfied with the results?

Does it look obviously fake (1 point for No)?

Does it attract attention to area where item is worn or carried(1 point for No)?

Realism:

(This is used for genital related items.)

Does it look like a biological penis (thickness,veins, length)?

Does it have a natural color(s)?

Does it have balls?

Does it feel like a biological penis?

When worn, does it have a realistic appearance?

Compression

Does product compression give the appearance appropriate for body size and shape?

Does it provide a tight compression without causing pain?

Does it provide designed to provide support for back and to not put too much pressure on internal organs?

Does it hold compression for more than one wear before washing (up to three)?

Can the wearer breathe normally after wearing for four hours?
