I got this binder used, so it already scores high on durability. I don’t know anything about its previous owner or how old it is. I do know that I received clean with no stains, it still had a lot of compression, and that there were no tears on it. Underworks has improved the design on this binder, making it longer and with more compression.
This binder has a double front panel which means that there is twice as much compression. Despite this, it is relatively cool for a binder, mostly due to its tank top form. The material in he back is thin and breatheable allowing for ventilation.
The Double Front Panel binder does a good job of compressing the chest, but not enough to wear a think shirt. I’ve had my best results with layers or a thicker shirt. I have a tendency to position my breast so that they point outwards towards my side, creating a more masculine chest pattern. Unfortunately, I tend to fall out occasionally on the side. Again, due to the tank top design.
The material dries out quickly when sweating excessively and is very breathable so it doesn’t get funky. It also stays clean well, so this binder holds up on the unexpected weekend getaway or overnight stay and it needs to be worn multiple times. The Double Front Panel needs to be washed and dried after a few washing to restore its elasticity.
I enjoyed this binder and it served me well. I can only imagine that the improvements made by Underworks have raised both its rating and grading, but that’s another evaluation.
