For awhile, I was having a hard time finding packers with a brown skin tone, so when I found this packer I was thrilled. The GV Soft Pack comes in three colors: coffee, vanilla, and caramel and to sizes: 4″ and 5″. This soft pack has a firmer core than most giving it more heft and preventing the shaft from being floppy.
They appeared to be going for the “flaccid” look, but with almost no detail and a barely perceptible head, this packer doesn’t score well on “realistic look” at all. The balls are designed to cradle the shaft which keeps it from sticking out too much, but the balls are not realistic either. When worn with a harness, it appears to be real from a distance and in photos.
The Soft Pack doesn’t have a sturdy design and can’t hold up to daily harness use. It is not built durable because of its “put- together” design instead of being a one-piece mold. It comes apart quickly if pressure is put against the seams. Despite this, this packer is not easily adapted as a stand to pee because of the inner core.
Having accepted that this is not a durable piece, at this point I plan to stick with this product because my needs are met and in all honesty, packers should be replaced occassionally anyway. I am more comfortable wearing this piece that matches my skin tone, then the more durable (and cheaper) pieces that look like a parody. Besides, despite its fake look, it fools the hand and provides a realistic feeling when I am wearing it.
